My Sis' Wedding!

My beautiful sister Amy got married!! It was a horrible day for weather (think rain AND snow!), but she wasn't fazed by it, and looked incredible! We're so happy for her and Jason...can't think of anyone better for her to be with!

The reception was at the Joseph Smith building...there was a fountain right outside the room we were in, so pretty much Gage was there all night. I had to change him twice because it was impossible to keep him from getting wet!

Valentine's Day!!

On her way to her Valentine's party at school...

Poor Ella had a doctors appointmet at Primary Children's on Valentine's Day, but no worries, the Great Valentine found us and left the kids some gifts while we were gone!

Side Note: After undergoing a sleepless night for an EEG, Ella is finally cleared to stop taking her medicine! Yay!! Her doctor said she looks fabulous, and after 2 1/2 years, she can finally be off within the week! We're hoping we don't have to make any more visits to that hospital anytime soon!

Love this girl...we're so grateful everything has gone so well for her and she is healthy and happy.

CraZy Sleeper!

Gage has pretty much been a horrible sleeper his whole life...it's okay though, we are finally used to it (yawn!) We got him a toddler bed a while ago, and that started helping a lot, however, it opened up a whole new set of problems. Getting him to actually GO to sleep is another challenge. He just comes out of his bed a thousand times, always asking for some random toy...he does this so much that he ends up falling asleep in the craziest places...anywhere but his bed! I'm trying to look at the positive here, at least he will sleep through the night now... only 2 1/2 years later...Geesh!!

On this night, I went in to check on him and he had his little work goggles still on!

Yep, he fell asleep on the top stair (and with a pen in his hand??). He actually does this quite a bit...I don't know how he never falls down them though, at least not yet!

He actually fell asleep in his bed this time...but holy cow, do you think he has enough toys in his bed?!

This night, he curled up in a comfy spot on his floor!

This was actually a few nights ago, I went in his room to check on him...he wasn't there...I started panicking and finally found him in Ella's room. He had made his way in her room and cuddled up with her already asleep. Made my day:)

I know this isn't Gage, but its too cute not to post. Morgan was having a sleepover with us, and I found these 2 asleep like this! They are just too cute for words...they have the strongest bond and are alike in SO many ways. We're convinced they were definitely great friends in heaven...Ella kept Morgan company up there since she had to wait so long to come down to our family! Its the best thing to see them together.

Merry Christmas!

We had such a fun Christmas this year. The kids were so excited, so it made it that much better. Gage woke up with pink eye early that morning, so I was so bummed that he wouldn't enjoy the day, but when I told him Santa came, he just lit up and ran out in the living room. It was such a good day...we spent it with both of our families. We feel so blessed with the year we had of health and happiness with our little family. Here's to another good year in 2011!

He was so excited...he ran out in the living room and just stood there with his mouth open! Oh, and don't mind his belly shirt...he wouldn't wear the cute Christmas jammies I got him. He wanted these instead...which are too small, and don't match.

Good thing Santa brought her #1 present she wanted this year! Gotta love the bedhead...

Santa was a little hunter this year...it took him a very long time to find one of these Lalaloopsy dolls. Never mind he had to pay extra for it from some lady online who was so happy she could "help me out" by selling it for double! At least Ella got what she was asking for...keep telling myself that!

Oh boy was he excited! I tried telling him to sit by all his presents so I could take a picture, but this was the only one he was interested in!

At least Ella would sit by all of her presents...these kids are just spoiled!

December Activities

December is always such a fun and busy month. We had lots of fun going to Christmas parties, seeing family and spending time together.

Oh, these 2 were so excited for Christmas...gets better and better every year!

We made our first snowman of the winter. I love this picture...he was so mad at me because I made him wear his gloves. I think he has like clostrophobia of the hands...he was just freaking out!

Ella went to the Christmas Village in Ogden with her preschool class. Gage loved it because he got to join in with the big kids...but again, hated the gloves. Notice, he's the only crazy one without them.

Mrs. Clause was at the Christmas Village too...Ella was pretty excited to tell her what she needed to pass along to Santa!

One weekend we went down to Provo to see aunt Amy at her spa, and visit Santa at the mall. We stopped at Amy's work and she gave us a little manicure...Ella was in HEAVEN. I about died how cute she was...she didn't move her hands for about an hour after for fear her polish would smear.

For our Taylor Christmas party this year we had it at The Peak in Brigham. It was so much fun...best idea ever mom! The kids loved it, playing on all the gymnastics stuff, they were all in heaven.

And the best part of all, my cute sister got engaged!! We're so excited for her...and I'm even more excited to help plan her wedding, can't wait until March!
